What tools do I need to disassemble my Beretta 90two and Sig p226?

Hey guys,
My 90two and p226 22lr have gotten a bit too dirty and I have never completely taken them apart. What punches do I need to completely disassemble them? Are there any kits available that would include what I need plus any future handguns? (glocks, 1911)
 
Order.a set of brass punches from brownelles,brass/nylon combo hammer and keep the internet close at hand and take lots of pics as you go I dont know about the 90two but my first detail strip on my 92fs was frustrating to say the least.
 
I have the Weaver Deluxe gunsmithing kit. It comes with a bunch of screwdriver heads, some torx heads, some punches, and a hammer with plastic and brass heads.
There are cheaper kits though, especially if you only want the punches. However, on the topic of punches, check that they are the size they say they are. My Stanley punch set had a few that were about 1/32" too wide, which made it kind of difficult to use the punches for their intended purpose

Also, if you have not seen one yet, a company called Tekmat makes some soft mats with diagrams of various firearms on them. They really can be handy if you're not familiar with a particular model.
 
For the 226(can't speak for the 92), I just bought a cheap punch set for the pins, a small hammer and mini screw drivers. There's a really good youtube video of a full disassembly that really helped me out.
 
You need two punches for the Beretta, can't remember the size though. It's a very easy gun to take apart. The Sig isn't too bad to take apart, but putting back together can be tough. Watch the videos and be very careful with the rebound spring and block.
 
thanks a lot guys. I'll be grabbing a brass punch set and a brass/nylon hammer from princess auto later today. I'm aware of the p226 youtube video and I dont think that the 90two would be too different from a normal 92fs disassembly. Cheers.
 
Beretta 92 frame is not bad, but dont touch the slide as the safety is a spring & detent grenade :p

Same goes for the SIG and dont touch the mag release unless you know what your doing unless you want a $1000 paper weight

Now do you ever need to take your pistol fully apart to clean? BIG NO! The way the pros do it is lube it and blow it out with a high pressure air gun. By taking it apart you run the risk of loosing parts, breaking something, putting something in wrong and FYI split pins and knurl pins are a one time use pin.
