What type heavy MG is this?

It's an FN Mag 58. Canada call it the C-6. Brits call it the L7A2. The US version is the M240. It's one of the most used GPMG in the world. The British just bought brand new ones made by Heckler & Koch (HK L7A2). I don't think the French army is using it since they have the AA-52 as standard issue GPMG but I could be wrong

That's an official designation that most British soldiers can't remember, if they ever heard of it. They call it the GPMG or "jimpy."

Its not a doll, damn it, its an ACTION FIGURE!!!

I will admit to having one of these as well - a WWII British soldier with complete pack including the Lee Enfield No 1 Mk III* and bayonet, entrenching tool, back pack, tin cup, helmet, etc. It looks really cool when set up with a whack of real rifles and bayonets. I could see these stupid things becoming addictive.

Which is precisely why children in the UK are forbidden to even see them or watch Olympians compete.

Much safer to walk the streets and take the tube there than own an inanimate object or see one in use.

PuLEASE get up to date......

Did the French use Woodland Camo - the last time I paid attention to the French they wore green (LE - but that's no measure, poor guys get the sh*t stuff anyways - Gabon?? who the eff would send people to Gabon other than wartime - and even then...) or that really cool "Lizard" pattern (Algerie Francais, and all that)

The French adopted a pattern very similar to, but not identical to US woodland some years ago.

True words, and this action figure's maroon beret headgear looks like that of a French Foreign Legion paratrooper from 2nd R.E.P.
1st R.E.P. was disbanded for thier involvement in a coup attempt during 1961,this over the offical Algerian independance from France.

The Legion only wears green berets, this one is a para metro beret and cap badge.
