What type of action is this?

It is positively 100% a BBR, rifle was rebarreld to a .308 Norma Mag but that's all I'm saying about it till after Sunday when I can shoot a few groups... I have high hopes for this old gal considering the tube that's on it...

What calibers were these rifles built in from factory?
The ones I've seen were only in 7mm Rem Mag.

7mm rem mag, .300 win mag, 30-06, 7-08 and a few other caliber choices have come up in my searching...

Apparently the BBR's where quite something back in the day but had a reputation for being heavy and overbuilt, I can vouch for the heft of this beast... She's got hips... Its like a sendero with a smaller profile barrel... And nicer trigger

The browning 308 lever uses the same style bolt head with the same lugs. I`m refinishing one right now. Browning.
