What type of Duty Holster can I get for my Glock 22?

It really depends on the purpose for which you're buying the holster.

If for actual duty use then your department will have made the determination of holster to be used.

If for competition then you may want to look at the Safariland 6280 or 6285. The 6004 is a leg strap tactical version but is not allowed in most types of competition.

All three of these models use the rotating hood locking system... very easy to use and quite fast to draw.

Fobus makes a very inexpensive retention holster. It's a variation of their standard holster, but has latch that locks into the trigger guard... the latch must be pressed before the gun can be drawn. Price is right but as an actual duty holster there have been a lot of criticisms in the US about these... apparently they don't stand up well.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try Police Ordnance they have used police holsters from trade ins .
I checked when i was there to pick up my Glock.Jo had nothing in the way of Duty stuff.

As far as the drop leg holsters go,they are cool and beyond, but not legal in IPSC.

Fobus I have owned and I dont like those much. The Hood model is neet but not my thing either.Although the purpose is not for duty, but IPSC and using IPSC as a training aid for me at work.I used to have it nice shooting my 1911 with my light trigger, open top mag pouches, and CR Speed holster but that just wasnt practical.I figure on puting the practical back into my IPSC! I might not win any medals but I will have fun anyway!!
