What Type Of Hunter Are You???

I guess you'd say that I'm a nature hunter...but I prefer to say I'm a chewer with a hunting addiction...basically cause it gets me outta the house so I can have a dip...the wife DOESN'T know and WOULD kill me (Guess you'd say she'd be in the limiting out/meat hunter catagory)...I'm not the only one though, my hunting partner goes out for the exact same reason!!!

I just really enjoy being out...I'm in the method stage cause I like to put a lot of prep work in before a hunt. I base my hunting spots/blind set-ups etc etc...and even what number shot I use on the most recent observations I've made or on past experience during similar times in the year.

I don't hunt for meat, although I like the meat. I liek the interesting stuf that happens and te adventure. I'm not too concerned if I end up filling the freezer or not...:)

Me too. Tag soup is fine with me (although not as tasty), so long as I got to enjoy the experience of the hunt. I love the outdoors, the peace and quiet, and the friends that go with it.

I'm a bit of all three, I shoot multiple does every year for both the meat and the "I got ya". The last few years it's been mulie does early. After that I want a trophy whitetail. Last year I shot a big trophy moose, I'm not sure I'll ever shoot another, just too much animal for my family and most of the time I am hunting alone. I'd like to get a nice trophy elk, but not so far. Two of the last three years I still had my general season whitetail tag(this year I got a nice 140 class). This summer my son and I are going to Africa so I guess that is part nature and part trophy hunter. I am probably style #4, but I love centrefire rifles for hunting.

One who is a combination of 1 & 2, who is also very much a conservationist,
but moreover dislikes being pigeon-holed by some academic and who sincerely dislikes "antis". Most tolerant of the informed "non" hunters, but "antis" the world can do without. They are non-productive eco-terrorists in the extreme and contribute NOTHING to conservation except their twisted viewpoint.

A nature hunter (who loves the taste of nature) who is in the "method stage", I think. Should I see Dr. Melfi or something ? :)

I hunt big racks and to fill the freezer, but have little time to scout so I take what I can get and eat what I shoot.

I don't mind a little extra chewing for a 180 WT or a 50 inch bull.:D

I guess I'm in the sportsman stage.

I hunt because!
I like to eat venison.
I like to figure out which might be the best watch on a run & give it to one of the young guys.
I like to see them shoot a deer.
I usually am the one to figure out where the deer are for the next chase & I like to be successful in that.
I like to eat the camp food, that's why I don't cook much:rolleyes:.
I like to shoot a big buck occasionally to have some horns on the wall, fortunatly the meat is shared, so my portion isn't all tough meat:).

MOSTLY
I enjoy the time with the "guys" at the camp, some of which I haven't seen since last year:)

Nature hunter first and foremost, who has to eat wild meat or it ain't real food, and who really enjoys pulling the trigger when everything is right, but who can pass them up if it's not.
