what wall tent did you buy and why?

why did you buy that make/model over the competition? what features did it have that made you feel it was the superior model and the right choice? I'm about to drop a chunk of change on one...but there are so many options, I'm not sure what I should be looking for. It's going to house 2 or 3, possibly 4 at most, so I'm thinking something like a 10/12x14-16fter. if you line up two cots, that's 12 or 13ft, then you need to get some space from the stove and have the room for the stove.

Deluxe Wall tents out of BC. Internal aluminum frame, porch extensions. Great tent/price. Still have a Norseman with internal aluminum frame ..just needed a bigger tent. Plus you live in BC, support local. They ship for free across Canada

Go with a 14x16x5walls. Its what I used for years...good for up to 5 but it gets tight...so now we have 16x20x5 with 8' porch extension. LOVE IT

I also recommend a 14x16x5wall. I have this size but 4ft walls, i wish they were 5ft. Get heavyweight roof, medium wt walls - saves a bit of $$ and weight, and you don't need heavy duty wall mat'l. Comfortable up to 4, more in a pinch.

A couple of the guys bring Boler trailers, I use a camper on my pickup, and then we use one of the Costco tarp-garages as a gathering room for all of us - for cooking, eating, swapping lies, cribbage tournaments, etc

You can just make out the portable woodstove in the foreground.

14X16X5, the way to go - Deluxe wall tents in Vancouver make a good product. Also, spend the money on the poles, making your own frame everytime you go out sucks, and you'll end up burning a hole around the pipe if you don't get the frame perfect.
