What was your first rifle ever? Do you still own it?

A worked on Ruger M77 in .243 win that has a custom barrel. I eventually bought it off my dad cause I cant give it up, it just shoots to well.

a Lee-Enfield in 303. Got it when i turned 8 yrs old(dad said it is yours look after it) Still have it . Still shoots 2"groups all day long

I bought two rifles at once. I couldn't decide so I bought them both. Mind you they were two very different pieces. A model 94 Winchester in .32 special. I've always been partial to Winchester lever guns. The second was a .300 Savage.

Sold the Winchester to my brother-in-law last week and the savage to a good friend right after I cleaned it up.

First two guns were a Cooey 75 and a Swedish m42b. I don't have either anymore. I love guns, but don't have any sentimental attachment. I'm happy to upgrade and ditch the old.

Cooey Model 64b, passed down from my older brother. Had it destroyed about 8 years ago since the(think I'm spelling this right) syrpin was worn down and the ejector broke from shootin CCI stingers. Figured after it went full auto when gopher shootin one day the gun was pretty much toast lol

Yes i still have mione, a 22 bolt action rifle, my dad got it for me when i was 16, i am almost 53 now. CIL model made in barzil. It was years old when he got it for me, and he got it at EPPS gun store when the store was still owned by the EPPs famly.

My first was my Ruger 10/22. It's seen several incarnations with 4 different barrels and stocks. I brought it home on the back of my buddies motorcycle when I was 16. I still have it and I still love shooting it.

Stevens single break action 20ga. shotgun that belonged to my Grandmother...she used to go 'upland bird hunting' in her day. Also a Cooey .22 single bolt action, ( can't remember the model ) with iron sights, both of which are gone to my brother after our parents died.

I still have my Dad's Winchester model 94 in .32 special but have not fired it since I was 12 or 14...scared me then, scares me now the action is so loose!

Jim
