What was your last big game taken with

Whitetail buck, .32 special.

Decided to take my grandpas rifle for a walk. See if it had any of his luck left on it (he’s been gone ten years I just finally found some ammo).

Had to walk across a field to get to some bush, didn’t even make it across the 40 acre section. My biggest whitetail yet just ran up from behind me and stopped to stare at me at 140m. Pop.

Can you even get a 200 grain bullet that will work in a .50 BMG??
Cat

I asked myself the same thing til I realized he was probably talking about the powder charge lol. Maybe thats a max with some bullets.

Still a really weird flex in a big game hunting thread but ok lol. IF it happened...

A max powder load in a 200gr bullet explodes animals under 200 lbs.

Bragging about blowing up dogs with anti materiel rifles in a thread about big game hunting is kinda lame but just my take on it.

If it even happened

Carry on, mall ninja lol your oddity and trolling are at least funny sometimes.

I was wondering how a guy would know a yote was a fat 91 lbs if there was not much left? or did it take off???

He rounded up every single little piece and fluff of fur and weighed them. Took all day.

91 lbs is one hell of a yodel dog too lol

romania is using a reintroduction program with 3 different ways and none are coming from poland. they re using bisons coming from different areas and zoos. then keep them fr a while before releasing in the wild. they re releasing them in the carpathians but the problem is mainly not getting approval from local population that already had to deal with wolf and bear ...

I did some wandering around in the Carpathian mountains of Romania in the mid-70's. I was impressed by how much wilderness there still was in Europe.

Winchester M70 in 257 Roberts. Not much of a story. Sat in my tree stand until a saw the deer, shot it, cleaned it, ate it. It was good.

About the size of my last one too lol. Only a ground blind instead of a tree stand.

Longwalker, did you stop a charge?

Africa sounds like a good hard hunt, if not because of the animals (no desire to hunt most of them just for the hunting's sake) then for the environment, walking, etc.

Good , it's not just me then . I'd love to walk around in Africa with a rifle , but I don't have any desire to shoot anything there ............... except for Cape Buffalo , just because they're Cape Buffalo .

African hunting is interesting, I went a couple of times when I was working there. You pay as you go for what you shoot, so I didn't take any of the big 5, just helped with some culling. I wanted a kudu, but never came across one I wanted enough for what it cost. Enjoyed the experience though, and met some great people. - dan.

That is pretty much the extent of my wish list as well.
A plains game hunt would be wasted on me. “What’s that thing called? Is it a boy or a girl?” etc
