What weapon will you be big game hunting with this year?

So how's it been going? Everyone get to try out your favorite weapon this year? Or waiting for the November rut to set afield, Weapon in hand, crisp air and snow.....

I'll be hunting with my late father's Ruger M77 .270. wishing he was with me.

My Cooper .308 did the job on my moose this year!

helluva long shot- had to be easily 65 yards.
Good thing the cooper shoots bug holes!
put him down with one shot!

So far I've got to use my Rem LSS 30-06, custom Sako 75 in .300 RUM, M70 .458 Win mag, and Weatherby Mark V that is rebarrelled in .300 Win. Did a fair amount of damage too.

For Canadian hunting I won't be able to blood all the new rifles this year, but will try to a least get some miles on the Kimber 7mm Rem, Montana .270 WSM, Accumark .270 Roy and Lazerguards in .257 and .300. Whatever happens, happens.

Edit; I suppose I could try the Cooper WC 7mm STW too. So many choices, so few tags.

338 Benelli R1, but will have backup one Scout Steyr 308, one Steyr Luxus 300 WM, one Sig Swiss 970 30-06 and one 44 mag BB Henry, always bring half a dozen rifles on every hunt... JP.

My November whitetail hunt will be with either my Bowtech or Kimber Montana 7mm-08, depending where I am hunting. My season so far has been with:
Bowtech Destroyer 340 for this Oct 4 joker

Custom M700 7mmRem Mag for this Oct 14 joker

Did you post a story with pics of the lucky hunter with the unlucky moose and the finely crafted Cooper? COngrats!

The FN Browning 1900 in .35 Rem! The one with the peep sight and the sling. Was getting 2" at 100 yards today from a rest in pretty gusty, cold weather with Remington factory 200Gr. ammo.

Heading out myself on Tuesday for a Melbourne Cup long weekend Hunt up in the High Country of Victoria, near Mount Hotham.

I'm deciding on the 300WSM Abolt at this stage.
