What weaver bases fit a Zastave 98 mauser?

they tried to look them up in the gun store but could not find that rifle...

Try Remington 798 .I think they are the same gun with a nicer American stock.Leupold makes bases as well.Harold

Most times I see weaver 45 and 46 bases used.

I am in the process of making rails for the Zastava in 7.62 x 39 that Canada Ammo brings in ... would they be the same dimensions as yours?

I think the 7.62x39 has a shorter action, this is a full mauser 98 action. It is cool to go to the range with my 1912 chilean mauser, and my Zastava that are essentially the same, and one is 102 years newer than the other, both are in the same cartridge... 7x57

Another good company for 1 PC bases are NEAR MFG. Since they listed 2 models for the M98, They sent me one to see if it would fit, and if it didnt they would send the other one and ask to return it. Didnt want payment till I was happy with the proper mount.
