What were the chance's

Nice - I had one very similar a few years back. For scope I suggest Leica ER 2.5-10x42 or Schmidt & Bender 3-12x42 Klassik.

There you have it , but you might add Leupold Canadian CDS Scope Custom Turret and you are good to go.
Shooting 180 grn(insert fav bullet here) into the vitals all day long.
What more could a boy ask for...err I mean a MAN ask for.
Nice Rifle too.
Rob

Leupold VX6 - 2 - 12 x 42 with a CDS turret would be my choice.
Your only problem would be getting your range finder to range out as far as the rifle will reach.

If you're thinking Zeiss, I'm a big fan of the conquest 3-9x. I have that on my 7mm rem mag blr, and it's great. The price was pretty good, and there's no issue with it holding a zero with heavier loads. Crystal clear too. If you have the cash, like someone else already said, swarovski makes some damn nice stuff too.

I have 2 of these scope they are really good imho.

Zeiss 2.5-10 X42 Diavari..........forget that Conquest stuff, I will buy a Leupold VX3 before a Conquest. If you buy a real Zeiss you won't regret it, the optics are incomparable. Swarovskis have decent glass but don't bother trying to get warranty......I'll never own one. I hunted over a lot of the planet quite successfully with my 300 Wby with a 3-9 X Zeiss Diavari on it. My eyes are however now getting tired and I prefer a 4-14 these days but they are heavier so it's a trade off, which I don't like either as the weight is also becoming more evident as I get older. I use Zeiss on all my hard working rifles and Leupolds on the rest and scope failure is a term which doesn't exist in my vocabulary.
You have purchased the perfect caliber in my opinion, for almost all NA hunting situations and 99% of the rest of the planet as well. May I suggest you load 200 gn bullets of a premium grade and you will have one of the few most universally effective hunting cartridges in the world, and if you are capable of 750 mtr shots your rifle is too.
Take that beautiful piece of wood off it and save it in the closet, wrapped in a blanket and call up Mark Brown and get yourself a good fiberglass stock for it. With the very light Mark V barrel they balance extremely well in a glass stock and you'll never have to worry about dings and scratches.
All this being said if you find it's too much for you or for some reason you don't like it PM me immediately and I'll see you get your investment back........

The Old Man has one of those Zeiss Diavari-C 3-9x scopes. It's a beauty. I hate the FFP but I could convince myself to deal with it for the quality of the glass.

Thanks for all the good info c-fbmi I appreciate it :) and if I do decide she needs a new home you'll be the first I PM I promise. You hit the nail right on the head for reloads as well I have 2 box's of 200gr accubonds i'm gonna use for this rifle i'm thinking they'll work just dandy for anything from coyotes to big bear!

And I'd like to say Thank you to everyone else for there thoughts and ideas as to which type of scope ALL of which are really nice scopes should go on it. I've rounded it down too three now the Leica, the leupold VX 3 3.5-10x40, and the zeiss conquest 3.5-10x44 (just cause I can't afford a Diavari at the moment simply because I'm in school right now switching trades) :( lol
