I honestly do not know as the whole lion thing was arranged for me by the Bongo outfit, he had heard from a mutual friend about my Zambian experience and was extremely disgruntled about the whole fiasco. He then went ahead on his own and arranged this lion hunt with another operator, friend of his who was also very distraught to hear of the great Zambian fiasco, and then presented it to me kinda as a good will gesture at a very reasonable price. I truly do not know where it is or who I'll be hunting with, but did very specifically ask if it was high fence and was assured it was not.
I was quite amazed at all of this as the great Zambian fiasco was none of their doing or related in any way to them, but they felt it reflected badly on the whole African hunting scene, in general. And he told me that there was too much of this type of sh!t going on, and the PHs needed to take more responsibility and more financial risk with the client, or they felt they would see a drastic decline in hunting in Southern Africa.
