And then there's the chance of all this Canadian prohibition angst falling away in the face of Trump's 51 plan and having to learn the nuances of CCW, ATF, SBR, AOW, FFL and all the other ways they make things more complicated for themselves.

Guess then I'd have to look into a CCW pistol and pick which rifle gets a silencer first? Oh, after having a canoe accident with any Chinese guns!
 
If we're still 'Canada', I won't be buying a damned thing. Only a short matter of time until the cities elect another Communist to outlaw the rest of my legally acquired firearms, and turning them into less than Dewats, since they can't be sold.
If we become the 51st, I'm buying me a Python, and open carrying that Mofo every day!

We just don’t have the same firearm culture that exists down South
Is that just because they have the 2nd Amendment and it’s enshrined

I have a large number of beautiful and totally useless firearms. Roughly $120K worth. They will all be on the block.

Nothing quite like the wakeup call that they'd put your whole collection into the chipper to satisfy their ideology, and go robbing from widows and orphans.
