What would buy this for?

I'm not looking to sell right now just wondering what the gunnutz would pay for this. Its a Cooey model 600 manufactured by Winchester.

I would say $100.00 to $150.00 depending on condition, yours looks like $100.00 or less.

Top I'd pay for a model 60 is $150 and that would be in almost mint condition . The 600 would be less as its not the real Cooey to me .
For yours I'd say ask $100-120 but be willing to take about $80 .

I sold one a couple weeks ago in much better shape then yours for $100. My asking was $120 and it sat around for a month or more. I saw 2 last weekend at a gun show, both in worse shape then mine and the sellers were asking $175 and $180 which is rediculous. Mine was not mint, but in excellent condition. Although at the last gun auction I was at, 1 went for $165 in fair condition, which is what I would rate yours. Don't put too much thought in to that though, gun auction prices are notoriously insane. Just judging from the pics, I wouldn't spend more then $80.

yes i agree...with the pics...it would be a bargain at $80. I would not pay more. there are lots around .

When I bout my model 60 it was $135 if i remember right. Was like brand new. I wouldnt pay more then $80 for that. I have seen some at gun shows in really good shape but the tag said 200-250 on some of them. Also seem some real rough ones at gun shows for $150+. Take that as you wish. As they say there is a sucker born every minute or a fool and his money will part ways soon enough. Ask what you think is reasonable and thats all you can do.

A friend of mine just got one exactly like that from a store used for $120 with a sh!tty little scope. I'd pay that, it's fun to shoot

In that condition I would list it for $75

A 600 in that condition outside WITHOUT seeing the bore, I'd pay $60-75. With mirror clean bore I'd maybe go to $100....MAX.

I think that's in "emotional currency"....few hold the Cooey quite so dearly as 'holic!
