What would you buy for an AR?

So I haven't kept up on the new import situation regarding Black rifles and I see there are now more restrictions as to what is being imported. My last one was an Armalite LEM 15 11.5"bbl with telestock and flashider. Now it looks like those arent available anymore. So what can I get in a 11.5"-16" carbine config?

Try Questar's RRA's... 16" barrels aren't TOO bad, but 14.5" and 11.5"... good luck

Here they are, you could also have Dlask build a shorty, and shortly Arms East will be producing barrels here in Canada. So it's not all bad news. If you're into names, Blueline hass LMT shorties.

LMT is basically a Colt.
Tier 1 stuff from what I am told.

I was just checking out the Dlask website and their 14.5" M4 looks nice. What do you guys think of it? price was around $1500 too which seems to be on the lower scale that I have seen lately.

I have a Dlask 14.5" AR. Upper and lower purchased seperately. Fit is on the loose side, but I think if I purchased it as a complete rifle the fit would be tighter. Quality is nice. I would buy another, I may get a 10.5" upper from Dlask soon.

Dlask is probably your best bet for a barrel, looks like they make some quality stuff. When I checked their site they were making full auto's through a sister company it looked like, so they're defenitly in business for building AR's.

x2 LMT or Stag is the only way to fly. Even the Colts bother me with their none mil spec trigger group pins.
