What would you put on a .375 H&H?

I'm taking a .416 with a fixed 2.5x Heavy Duplex for that job. At least it will never accidently get left on 9. The irons are sighted for the 400 grain bullets as well. A .375 is coming along as a general hunting rifle, hence the general hunting scope.

Next time, I get to come as Cameraman!

I use primarily a fixed 4x on both 375H&H's...I also have a Zeiss Diavari-C 1.5-4.5x18 in mounts that I bought to replace a Leupold Vari-x III 1.5-5 that had a lot of flare. Like someone said...the 375 seems to shoot as flat as a 30/06 and as a result for me the 4x seem to work ok. The 4x's I use most are the older inexpensive Zeiss Jena 4x .. also a Swarovski Al that has a neat eyepiece that is spring mounted and seems to prevent serious collisions with the eyebrow.
I don't imagine I will go shooting in Africa soon ... and don't plan on big bear in North America so for everything else (black bear, moose, deer.. maybe elk one day) the 4x work fine...
