It's about as cheap as you can go for a quality reflex sight.
A used bushnell holosight (the eotech built one) is about the only other option.
These and the more expensive sights are very bright and super crisp, even in direct sunlight, and don't have that "soft" looking reticle.
You'd be fine with a cheap knock off style sight, but if you ever used the real thing, you'd not want to go back to the cheap one...
Well, I don't know what you consider quality, but my Bushnell red dot works just fine on all my firearms, day or night...
...And like I said - $90.
A friend of mine owns an Aimpoint T-1 (yes a real Aimpoint - NOT a knockoff) and I'm sorry, anything that will damage/destroy my Bushnell WILL do the same to the Aimpoint.
IMO, it is NOT worth the extra $$$...
...LOL, unless you plan to be carrying your rifle and scope while you scuba dive into an "enemy" base, because I was told his red dot is waterproof and mine's not

. (I dared him to try dunking his for a few minutes, just to prove his point, but he refused.)
Seriously though, all that being said, IF you do have some extra money to spend, Aimpoint, Trijicon, Elcan and Eotech sights are all very nice.
