Been eyeing on these 2 and watching when it would be available in Canada. What would you rather have and why?

Sig P320 X5 legion

or

CZ Shadow 2 Orange

The Orange will be almost twice the price of the Legion. 1k more anyway. The orange is not optic ready either. So maybe not directly comparable propositions

so currently I'm using a shadow 2 with a henning optic mount on it, all the springs, the hammer and the disconnector have been change to make the gun run better. and it runs beautifully. I guess what im really asking is the orange s2 worth the 2K price tag with the new bushing upgrade, hand fitted frame slide? and of course the orange name.

While the P320 x5 legion is polymer, it is heavier than the original x5 p320, uses 1911 recoil spring, upgraded trigger that is claimed to have a shorter reset and lighter pull. and like the previous comment it is 1k cheaper with a legion tag. i had the pleasure of owning a p320 x5 for a short while. it shoots great and even thou the bore axis is high it shoots soft. but personally i keep on grabbing my s2 for matches. maybe because on the weight (i like the weight of the s2 for matches) the trigger (since my s2 trigger is better)

soooo :) my wifey only gave me permission to acquire just 1 :( so the orange i know would be an excellent gun. but would my s2 shoot almost as good and have 1K more price tag. or the legion which weight also the same as the s2 also a great gun but of course its a striker fire (which im not really accustomed to yet)

I thought about the Orange but ended up getting the S2 OR.
Had a gunsmith polish it and swap the springs.

IF you are going striker fired, and a polymer gun then the gun to get is the Walther PPQ Match. I have the 320 XFive and, while there is an after market trigger kit available, out of the box the 320Xfive is not in the same league as the PPQ MAtch. It is heavier by design so recoil, such as it is from the 9MM is felt less in the heavier gun. That is it's only edge over the PPQ Match. IN my hands, at least, the PQ still performs better.

To the OP a better comparison might well be the PPQ Match SF when it lands here. It will cost a bit more than the Orange but is a steel gun, only striker fired. I believe it will take on the heavy S2, with a be crisp SA trigger and be capable if some impressive accuracy. In the right hands i might be the gun that takes on the S2 and Tanfoglio hold on IPSC Production. Time will tell.

For the price you cant beat the 320 x5 legion.

I love mine. Recoil and trigger are amazing. I love the grip. I do love the aesthetics of the slide cuts. The sights are perfect. I want to get the romeo1 but am happy with my sights.

Lots of interest and shooters of the P320 X5 south of the border. The new legion with the tungsten / polymer frame will be outstanding. That with the new Walther Steel Match (The Shadow Killer) will slowly take over.
Don't get me wrong, I love the CZ's, great guns. But, the striker fired guns with trigger jobs breaking all shots at just over 3 lbs with short reset will slowly dominate. No transitions between 2 different trigger pulls.
I don't think Daniel Horner has ever been beat shooting the X5 320, seems to win every match he enters.
