What year Winchester model 70?

That scope looks like it may add some value to the rifle.
Looks like a Bushnell with target turrets.
Or pull the scope and sell with rings only.
Someone will have taste buds for her.
And to think there are tags to be filled.
Best you hurry this one along in the EE.

It doesn't have a fancy scope......Tasco 6-24x42 mildot. The sling is leather. I don't even know what to ask for the full setup.

If you've got cut checkering then don't bother selling it. The push feeds don't sell for a lot but are nice in their own right, and I regret selling mine. I had a good one but thought I'd be better off with a floor plate, less weight, .308 accuracy, and a Remington roll mark. In hindsight I don't think I was.

Don't listen to people trashing the rifles based on how their features compare to a CRF design of the same name. The things are at least as good as Remingtons and I suspect a little better.

I have had several push feeds over the years, still have two, and CRF M70's. I see no problem at all with PF M70, I do not hunt Lion, nor do I shoot upside down.

I have a M70 circa 1981 I got NIB that year, last of the Olin Winchesters, and the fit and function on this XTR Sporter Magnum was fine. I still have it. I have the pre-64 FWT, nice rifle, but doesn't had any firmness to my hunting erections.

Pre-64 may be ###### to some,or CRF to others, and this is where the M70 legend was born for sure, but out in the bush this fall, you draw a bead on a nice buck with your well sighted '06 push feed, it will go bang, and will probably cycle again if necessary for round two, but most bucks can't even go one round with a .30-06.;)

I had a 1973 vintage M-70 on 30-06 , a very good rifle, carried it around for 35 yrs, I regret having sold it for many reasons. I sold it for $450 with no scope, rings or bases in 2008.

Yours appears to be the standard grade version, by the absence of the white line spacers, black plastic foretip, and knurled bolt handle. Mine had all these bells and whistles and the only "yuck" part was the white line spacers. Yours is a nice looking rifle in my humble opinion, then again I have always had a soft spot for M-70's

Mine worked flawlessly over the years, was very accurate with my hand loads. I have two of the newer CRF versions which are also very well made for the money. But I fail to see what all the hipe is about this CRF. Just appears to be alot of extra parts for nothing. The old push feed was simple, smooth, easy to care for and worked well.
