I've got several boxes of 20 gauge shot shell brand Canuck IVI #5 shot with a price tag of $5.15 on one of the boxes.

How long ago were these selling at an average local hardware store for this price?

I'm thinking mid 70's??

In the Mid 80's I was paying just under $9.00 for Federal lead #4's from Steveston Marine Hardware on Moncton St.
Just tossing some inflationary information about.
Kinda of a blast from the past hearing names of old hardware stores ..when hardware stores actually would be a hardware store.

I remember buying IVI Imperial 1 1/4 oz 12ga 2 3/4 inch for $9.99 /box at Canadian Tire when I started hunting in '78.
