What you guys running for 3 gun ar

Thinking of getting into the three gun scene. Curious what everyone is running , I was thinking of getting the colt competition pro 18 inch or should I build one ?

Any AR that runs reliably will get you in the door and be competitive. What's your budget?

Thinking 2000g I have a 1x4 leupold allready

10.5" Daniel Defense Mk18 with Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x

That should get you lots of gun. I don't see many 18" guns up this way. Most are 14.5" or shorter.

Out to 300m I don't see any need for an 18" gun and a lighter, shorter gun will get around the stages quicker.

If you plan on going to the states 16" is a must to get around SBR laws.

(Canada) light modded ar 14.5" or less, 1-4 optic. pump shotgun with extended magtube, modified feedport for fast shell reload, or an semi with ghost load capability, and your favorite pistol.

I got a dd mk18 at the moment with a aimpoint I guess I'll switch to the 1x4, have to get a decent shotgun now!!

10.5 inch with 1-4 scope with throw lever. I think 18" might be over doing it for 3 gun.

Depends on the organizers or sanctioning body.

In Peace River and Fort St. John you can use both types, but if you put more than 10 in the Beo mag it puts you in Open division.

here is a copy of our division rules.... in the future if there is more interest we would be adding a heavy metal OPEN class, but right now this is where we are at.
