What you're shotgun choice for turkey hunting?

I haven't gone yet but when i do ill be bring my Merkel 12 sxs. 7 pounds, 28" barrels with full/full chokes

I don’t hunt turkeys currently but if I did I’d use my Rem 870 with a 20” rifle sighted turkey barrel or my 14” rifle sighted 870 barrel. They’re both hard to beat.

Sxs guns offer 2 loads and although not in your case but often 2 chokes as well
It's nice to have a more open choke with a lighter load for when that tom comes in to 5 yards

I use a vast variety of scatterguns but I've come to really love my Beretta 1301 comp. It is drilled and tapped for an optic. Light short and fast I use it for everything nowadays

i use my 1301 tactical with a red dot for a few years with great sucess,now i got the mossberg 940 pro turkey great shotgun for turkey i install a swampfox sentinel red dot on it its amazing.

What's your thoughts on the swamp fox? I've been looking at those online but haven't seen any of their products in person
