• LH Steyr Mannlicher Model M FS SE in 6.5x55 for mule deer
• LH Browning X Bolt in 6.5 PRC for sheep and caribou
• Custom LH Rem 700 in 358 Win for moose
• LH Fierce Carbon Rogue in 7mm PRC for elk
• LH Sako 85 Hunter in 9.3x62 for bison
• CZ Bobwhite G2 and Rem 870 Wingmaster in 28 ga for grouse and ptarmigan

So I will be looking forward to using them next year!
Along with a LH Browning X Bolt in 25 Creedmoor for antelope

Different tools for different jobs, but after my experiences the last couple years I’m running between my pre ‘64 M-70 in 300 H&H with a Vortex Viper 2.5-10x44 on it and a BSA No2 factory sporter with a Leopould VXII 2-7x33. The H&H is perfect for when I’m expecting more open ground. The Lee is much better in thick bush and closer shots. Both are dead nuts reliable set ups I can count on, that fit me like a well tailored glove.

I went for a hiking mountain caribou trip mid August and I carried my Merkel k5 30-06. I went looking for bison Tuesday and I have my cz550 9.3x62 and my 458 win mag.
Moose hunting in 2 weeks will bring an other 30-06 built on a Husqvarna 98 action and stock that have a pecard 1.5-4 in claw mounts shooting 190 speer impact bullets.

So that was with the old Husqvarna mod 98 30-06, 180-190m shot( pecar scope at 4x German no1 reticle) , bullet was Speer impact 190gn going 2750ish fps. Weight retention 76% expended diameter .826”.
Two bullets, even if the first one was good, because of the distance and the location I wanted to make sure.
