Whatever happened to the 7mm Mystic: Jerry, where are you?

As I recall, it was the 30-06 case necked down to 7mm using a full length 7mm Rem Mag sizing die. It showed great promise as a long range cartridge.

Worked great. Many options today that don't need fireforming.

280 Rem, 7 RSAUM, 7 WSM, 7-300WSM seem to be the most popular. heard of a few 280AIs too.

The 7Mystic has a case volume like the 7RSAUM so you get equal performance.

Mix and match off the shelf dies so not an expensive wildcat to play with.

Haven't shoot this in years as I focused on 6.5 in Open then moved to FTR a few years back. The 7 Mystic would make a very nice open chambering today.
