You may have seen my restoration thread for this rifle. I'm thinking of selling it in the spring and was curious what your thoughts are, and if i should put more time into it for sanding, stain, and finish over xmas vacation.
The work i remember doing:
Mfg'd a magwell (owner removed to make it single shot)
Extended mag release
Recut checkering on grip
Sanded off all finish
Carved a Schnabel Forend
Filled rear swivel holes
Mfg'd adjustable butt stock (it was cut down to 12" LOP)
Sourced European dove tail rings (15mm or something IIRC)
Recrowned (11°) and coldblued muzzle (was cut with grinder)
Mfg'd trigger guard
I managed to shoot 0.5" groups at 50y with CCIs after i crowned the muzzle using a 100$ Chinese scope off an ammo box. The rifle has potential!
