Try reading this forum a little more closely; the CSA guns are plagued with problems. So many threads here about 858 issues that I now have NO regrets about selling mine off. Strangely they are still fellated by the peanut gallery as the best red rifle going, blindly in love with the "AK lookalike" that in reality is a piece of junk.
What a foolish statement full of fail ! With all models of guns that multiple factory's and company's make there will be crappy ones around , just like the WASR AKs and CenturyArms AKs in the US .. The VZ is a great military grade rifle if built correct . i have owned 4 some with very high round counts , no issues except the gremlin that is a byproduct of the rifle being semi auto because it originally was designed as a select fire weapon , easy fix a tabbed receiver . now many rifles come with that .. My 2009 CSA is flawless .. Yes it seems like there was a bad batch this year from CSA and .223 rifles will be crap ether way cause the rifle was not meant for that round . But there is no reason to call it a POS lol why the #### would the Czechs be using it so long ? Did you know it was made in 1958 and yet its lighter than a M4 and way lighter than a AK , did you know the Viet Cong preferred the VZ over the AK because it could be loaded on the fly with stripper clips , a life saving feature when theres a magazine shortage on the battlefield ..
