whats a decent SxS

Now, if you want a really nice SxS, we've got a Merkel 147 EL 20 gauge with an English stock, double triggers and 26 3/4" barrels on the way! ;)
$7999

It would be hard for anyone to come up with a better deal on a new shotgun than the $2199 on the one 20 gauge highlander. Beautiful and well made; I like the Yildiz in their price range and the CZ's but the Franchi is in a different class, IMHO. I think I made the right choice in spending the few extra $$$ to get one. WSS wants $3600 for a Ruger SxS; if you can even get it!!!

We got a special deal on the Franchi's. Only have the 5 left(actually, these five will be here soon but are not yet in stock-I'llget better pics once they are) The prices we are offerring are below current dealer costs according to my lists.

Sako, can you send me (via PM) more info on the Highlander 20gs sxs, I am seriously looking for a High End SxS in a 20ga., I have always liked the Franchi Renessance and Highlander since they were introduced....some People are trying to talk me out of it (due to the fact of the lightweight alloy receiver)....let me know what else you can get....I also would prefer a Sidelock...you know...a real purty Gun:) Let me know....not much avail. here in Toronto....my price range will be in the $4500.00 range and I will consider a nicely used one as well...used strictly for Upland Hunting (woodcock, Grouse and Huns in your beautifull Province). What grade of Walnut are on the Highlanders you are waiting for? Thanks in advance.

I'll send a PM too. :)
Here's a link to the highlander page:
http://www.franchiusa.com/firearms/highlander.php
Note that they are a lightweight gun but not a lightweight alloy receiver-they are nickel steel(stainless)
We are not Franchi dealers normally, we just goy a deal on a few of them and can offer at these below dealer prices for these five remaining guns. As far asa wood quality goes, somebody posted pices of all five guns ealrier in this thread.
These guns are normally about $3600+. We can alo get a great deal on some Merkel and Grulla models right now in limited quanties.

Ok thanks Sako...I did find the links after I posted...I will be in touch....do you ever get any AYA's from buddy up the Road? or is it down the road? I should ask...can you sell AYA's? Thanks for your help.

I read the Berreta 626 was an extremly good gun, don't know about their value expect
would aproximate a 686. They aren't made yet, only used...

An other good, and good looking one is the Ruger side by side, don't remember the
name, very light à la English shotguns.

Jocelyn.
