Whats a good .40S&W ?

Went to the range today and put another 150 rounds through my USP40.
I like it a lot-the 92FS and cz75 haven't been out since I got the HK.
...for what that's worth...
:p

Another vote here for the Springer XD40. Mine has been uderly reliable and is very accurate. I have no complaints with mine and do recomend the XD series of pistols.

How come nobody is suggesting Glock 22. With many police departments using them down south they can't be bad.

Glock haters here we come

I like them too, but it is prob stuff like the probs the Indiana State Police had, the KB issue that always seems to come up, too 'snappy', etc.

yah the Glock 22 is definatley too snappy, but i found after putting on a hogue slip on grip it helped alot. eventhough it helped, i still picked up a stainless P226 in .40 cal :D

oh and my vote, SIG P226R in stainless though

sti for range work.
USP .40 for ultimate reliability. It was built from the ground up as a .40

Hmm... so i guess my list can be finalized as follows :

HK USP 40
Sig P226
MR Baby Eagle
SA XD40
GLOCK G22

Since my pockets are kind of small now... I'd prorbably go for the XD, but I'd have to try it out before I finalize my decision.

Thanks for the suggestions, info and help everybody ! :D

keep shooting more other peoples 40's.

When you shoot the right one and it feels right you will know, then ask the guy what he did to it to make it that way. Its all about half gun half the ammo running through it.

Too bad you did not like the sig, its a nice gun.

good luck.
