Understandable. For balance beams, I think the Hornady is very good for the money. I used one until going to the Chargemaster. Then maybe add a powder measure. Hornady is also a good choice.
Well I was talking about the Hornady auto charge, it's $200 shipped to 2 hours away from me and I gotta go get it and pay some tax so like $240 with tax and gas. Chargemaster is like $400 and I would love to get one but it's fairly expensive. The thing with the Hornady is that it's so new, nobody knows if it is good or not.
I hate beam scales and I think most of my time will be sitting there trying get correct powder charges. Digital scales are great and I got one but I stopped shooting so I sold it and now I am getting into shoot again so it would be nice to have one again.
I have the RCBS Chargemaster Combo, and it is really a good rig.
Also have an RCBS 10-10 Beam scale and an RCBS 304 [a sophisticated Beam Scale]
Use them when I want to load just 5-10 rounds.
For any more, the Chargemaster gets the nod.
