whats a good gps.

After using the yellow etrex this hunting season, I will definately be getting a gps with mapping capability. It's nice to know which lake/river etc., is over the next hill. I have my eye on the Garmin GPS60cs. 8)

whats the best one for the smallest amount of money

IMHO, the Garmin Etrex (yellow one). It is easy to use and is quite cheap now. There are also lots of accessories you can buy for it (software, cables, etc.).
I did a bit of a seach on GPSs a couple of weeks ago and also found that the basic Etrex was very well recommended at a very good price.

Check here for the best price in Canada....

GPS Central in Calgary, as noted above by SuperCub, also has Garmin Etrex units fully warranteed and reconditioned for very good prices. Delivery is next day!

Don't forget to check eBay for a GPS in your price range. You may pick up a higher model Etrex for the price of the basic model. I recently purchased a Etrex Legend for $160 shipped to my door. Definitely worth checking out.
