What's a good moose bullet.

Very happy with my first ML deer but despite it's dramatic effect on a very small deer I'm a bit disappointed with the bullet performance. What is everyone using on moose and elk? I'm looking for something fairly tough that doesn't disintergrate on contact and penetrates well. Fully expected a through and through on the deer but I had no exit wound and couldn't find anything but fragments.

Any thoughts?

Nothing like the penetration/ knock down power of a full-bore conical....something like the TC Maxi-Hunter.

It all depends on the gun you're shooting from but I'm still getting exceptional performance from the hornady 250gr XTP hollowpoint. The through and through heart shot on my big muzzleloader buck proved it again this year....
