Whats a good price for 9mm 124 grain

My brass from my range is free, but even if you buy used they can be had for $.03. The bullet costs me $.003, primers at todays price is $0.07 (i recently got campro from Tesro for $60) powder for my load is $.02. Thats still $.12 a round. So my math isnt far off.

A more realistic price for primers is 10 cents each, or more. The 6 cent primers get snapped up in minutes. Most people don't cast, so their bullet cost is going to be at least 10 cents. Again, prices from 10 years ago do not apply; your average lb of pistol powder these days is $60 or $70, and at 4+ grains per round, you're looking at 4 cents for powder. That's a 24+ cent 9mm, with range pick up brass.

Your math is way off if you're a new reloader, especially if you're not interested in casting your own bullets (I'm not, and never will be. I suspect the majority are in the same boat).

I agree if you don't cast then the price is .25 or more but again I mentioned if he did cast then that would save 10+ cents. I use titegroup that i'm still getting at $35 plus tax so we'll say $40/lb using 3.2 grains is $0.02 per charge

If you're near a Bass Pro, every now and then they'll put CCI Blazer Brass on for $16.99 per box of 50. No limits (at least in AB) so it goes quickly though ...

Hey guys, I’m just getting into IPSC and recently got some 9mm guns. Do you guys know what a good price for 9mm 124grain ammunition is? Also if you have suggestions on which companies have good deals on ammo that would be helpful.

Don't sit on the fence . buy with you can afford.
