Whats a good price for monotype?

I've had monotype offered to me at $1.5/lb . I think this is a good price. My guess is it probably is about 1/2 the antimony as Rotometals 'Super Hard' which is $4/lb in the USA and $6/lb shipped here.

So I'm thinking it is a decent deal as monotype is hard to come by these days.

What do you think? Is $1.5/lb is decent? Could I resell if for this price if I decide I'm not a caster after all?

Its been known to clog bottom pour pots...just google monotype for bullets and follow links to cast boolits

A lot of people will mix it with wheel weights.

Thanks! I would have figured one would first cast it into ingots of some soft alloy. 4:1 pure lead to monotype.
