The guys needs to do some reading. Manual action firearms do not have a magazine limit, and neither do rimfire long-arms.

I beg to differ... Ruger 10/22 with banana... many opinions on how the law is translated, feds want to make it prohib.

The same way he knows which species of deer, duck, bear, etc. you have shot. If he puts himself in the business of enforcing a regulation on something, he is in the business of knowing what that thing is and how to identify it.

Exactly^^^, but unfortunately, in our Canadian legal industry an important check/balance is missing. In almost all occupations if an individual exceeds their knowledge/training base and causes harm/damage to someone, there can be civil liability ($$$) for this. This tends to weed out the incompetent/overreaching or motivate extra training in any particular industry. When an LEO lays charges based on ignorance or lack of proper training and a court action/damage to an individual results from this, there is no mechanism to compensate ($$$) the damaged party and by this cause the LEO or their organization to limit themselves or improve training.

It is legal, as lo g as you do t use a 10/22 pistol mag. Your interpretation may differ.
