What's a good side by side?

It goes really well. Mrs. Cannon, who formerly lived in Montreal for 9 years, has a little bit of a heavy foot issue with it, lol, so she's had it faster than I have. I've never been over 65 km/h. She's had it shy of 80. The dealer told me they had it up to 90, but I dunno. It's a 700 twin. The 1000, which my buddy has, is a totally different monster. Not to mention it's too big for ATV trails; however, it is basically a baja buggy. A friend of mine was the GM at a dealership up north, so I bought my Trail with a trailer at a price too good to pass up. I originally wanted something more utility, like, say, a Rhino. However, with the trunk up front and my tool kit in the rear, I carry enough equipment and supplies to last for at least a week in the bush if I had to. There's room for the cooler, plus 10 birds in the back deck, so it does what we like.

Find a Suzuki Sidekick ...
They have doors and windshields and stereos and can be insured to drive on a road too.

I'm running a Polaris RZR, great machine for everything from plowing snow, to hauling firewood, or just playing. The Suzuki Sidekick is a great little rig for offroad, I had a GMC tracker for a few years.
I think the Samurai is even a better rig, if you can find one in good shape. I never saw an unmodified stock 4x4 vehicle go through what the little Samurai could. Here's a short video of them.

I remember seeing the crew on Extreme 4x4 on Spike take a Samurai and slap in a VW diesel and then convert it to WVO. Always thought that would be the cat's ass.

Yikes, I tried the mountain bike thing years ago because of being in a park with motor vehicle restrictions. Had my frame pack on and thought I was good to go.................threw the bike in the trees and started hiking after about a km lol

I think to hunt on a Mountain bike is a lot like hunting on a motorcycle you have to think light and be prepared to pack meat out on foot or ride back and get the truck
If I was to bring a packboard it would be empty and tied onto the rear luggage rack and not on my back but realy that can be left at the truck you just need your rifle ,ammo ,and sharp knife,GPS
I have seen moose just stand there looking at you trying to figure out what you are same with deer and bears
At home guys carry rock for carving on ther bike up to 80 lbs by tying there packboard to the bike and push them works pretty slick

Picked up a Can Am. Hope I made the right choice!! Tried it out on some small rides in deep snow and was extremely impressed!
