what's a viable inexpensive Non-Restricted .223/5.56x45 rifle?

Anyone with a Troy par use hunting sticks? I've been looking at one in 223 but feel like it would be a pia with follow up shots.

I put a bipod on mine, had to make a sling stud for the hole in the front of the forend, used some thick washers and a threaded sling swivel and nut. Noveske makes an adaptor for the forend but I couldn’t find one up here. But lately I’ve been trying to work on my unsupported shooting so I haven’t been using it. I feel like sticks might be difficult as if you take pressure of when cycling they will fall over. So far follow up shots haven’t been necessary, but fired from a seated position I can rack em in pretty quick and stay on target. Takes some practice to get used to running the pump though.

With a chromoly medium weight barrel in a 1:8 twist with handguards that they have indicated are floating, this thing should produce decent accuracy with good ammo. I’d expect 2moa +/-.

Kodiak Defense WK180-C under 1k

Honestly this new rifle looks substantially better than anything else in the price range. I would highly encourage the OP to pre-order one. It's easy to spend someone elses money though.

But seriously, preorder the WK180c.
