Whats best method of media sifter?

I use a stainless colander from Canadian Tire. Seems to work.

I will usually side with the cheaper "shop built" model but in this case its a fourth vote for the Dillon separator, I've tried all the cheaper home built remedies but nothing does 100% like a separator and anything less than 100% is a waist of time and can end up with broken die /primer rods.

If you use the 80-90% methods and still have to dump every case "just to make sure" you might as well do them all that way.

My Lyman tumbler has a screen lid on it. I just turn the unit upside down over a large plastic bin. The vibration and my shaking gets out 99% of the media.

Same procedure here. Duck soup simple!

Or you could go to the dollar store and pick up a salad spinner.I use just the screen out of it over a bucket,works well.

I bought an ugly old collander for 50 cents at a yard sale. Sifted a lot of brass with that thing. It even came with a handle! Must be the deluxe model.

I know a few others have similar posts, but this is the one that got me laughing uncontrollably! (Deluxe model!)
Especially nowadays, when the younger crowd won't give it a second look if it isn't electric, and doesn't have an 'app'!

(Btw, I have the same model...I bought mine from my wife. I was just trying it out...apparently the red tumbling compound doesn't wash off of the 'tupperwary' type plastic they're made of! I guess I should have known to stay out of her kitchen stuff, especially after the 'molten lead thing' back in '81!)
