What's considered a good price for a used beretta 92?

You can buy a brand new one for that price (US Beretta). $700.00 MAX if its in really good condition, other wise I'd just buy a brand new one.

A good price for a used Beretta 92 is somewhere in the 500's. There was a guy selling a Beretta 92 on the EE a while back for 475. It didn't last long.
maybe for a used DAO police trade in in .40 cal or an old S model
used Beretta 92FS in good condition will be $700 maybe even a little more for Italian -that's for black/Bruniton finish model. Inox will be more as they are discontinued/unavailave for now.

Yeah. Some people here are just trying to toot their own horn because they have one.
Italian made 92's are less reliable than the American made ones.
Italy makes great shoes and suits...but the states still makes better guns.
Well, not sure if it's Italian mfg or US I'm gonna talk to the owner soon & see if the deal's still on for ~ $400. Heck, even I could learn to love a 92 again at that price...lol...
who is their right mind sells a gun in good condition for $400-500 that goes for $800-900+ tax new?

US gun makers only know how to make 1911's and revolvers what else do they make? Italy (read Beretta
) has ben making guns for 500 years I think they know what they're doing...

Thats one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard. Yes, the U.S. makes amazing firearms... and has been for centuries, but the Italian 92 are just as good if not better.
Italy (Aswell as other Europian countries) has an unmatched reputation for quality and craftsmanship when it comes to it's exports. Wine, clothes, cars, firearms, furniture, food, designer items, etc, etc....the list goes one. This is the country that produces the Ferrari & Lambourghini....please compair that to any ####ty American car. Please compaire the Italian Benelli M4 to any US made shotgun.
I'd rather have an Italian Beretta 92 that been handcrafted and put together with care by Vincenzo in the factoy in Italy, instead of some fat beer-drink'n yankee.
My Italian 92.F has seen over 6000 rounds with ZERO malfunctions.....my US Beretta has had 4 jams over the span of 2000 rounds.

That problem was look after in the 80's
A used Beretta 92FS, in like new condition, should be a $600-700 dollar gun IMHO.
