What's everybody using for hearing protection?

I carry skull screw earplugs, but last weekend when I took down both my cow elk back to back I didn't have time to put them in, I was regretting it for a day and half afterwards, My muzzle brake doesn't help things at all.
 
MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X. Got them a while back, very comfortable. I don't use them for hunting, but probably should. I have bad tinnitus for the last 10 years or so, but it hasn't gotten worse. Both ear drums perforated previously from "bystanders" with braked guns.
 
got a pair of walkers after somebody cross shot in the pit ..muzzle blast gave me headaches for days.so now i hunt with walkers and dont hunt that particular hunter
 
Everyone who's wearing muffs, do you get the horrible squished vacuum suction feeling on your head when you wear them? I work in steel industry and cant stand muffs only ever use 3m foam plugs. Don't wear any when hunting but wear when target shooting.

Maybe I got used to it from decades of use in the CF?
