Am I the only one?

First aid
50' of Utility cord
multi-purpose Buck Knife
Gut hook/skinning knife
water/food
Gerber Gator bone/wood saw (great little saw btw)
toque and thin mechanix style gloves to swap out for my warm ones if needed
GPS
couple sheets of dry paper in a ziploc
a book to read in case I get bored on watch ;)

my "grab and go" bag holds tags, knives, and a decent light. This bag is used for those days where i manage to get off the jobsite early, or when a break from life is needed.

When i head out for a full day or better, i add many of the above things, some rubber gloves, and a change or three of socks.

Contents vary a lot, depending on where I am hunting, and how, but butt floss, some paper towel, maps, a saw, some rope...

Sometimes a small block and tackle, sometimes some cargo tiedowns, sometimes warm clothes, sometimes wet weather gear, sometimes lunch, or a days worth of food and snacks.

Duct tape or gun tape, as well as the paper towels, are about all I carry for first aid in the pack. If I need more than that, someone else is carrying me out anyway, or going to get help.

I usually carry at least three different forms of fire with me, on my person. Lighter, matches, and a magnesium fire starter. Ammo, cutlery, tags and the like, all ride in my beat up old fanny pack along with a space blanket.

The pack doesn't always travel with me, but the fanny pack does.

Cheers
Trev
