whats it like selling a tricked 10/22?

i have a tricked 10/22 with choate stock, SS GM barrel, lighter trigger, auto bolt release, so its all stainless now, but i want to sell it


its in good condition
am i better to sell it as its built now? or do i part it out?

maybe you'll get an acceptable offer.
If it sits in your closet (oops safe) for the next 10 years, maybe $500 today is better. Maybe $300 is better, ultimately what does it shoot like?
The receiver is the most valuable part.
What is the receiver alone worth to someone starting a 10/22 project?
 
What do all the parts add up to in cost? Were all the parts available in Canada or shipped from the US? Can you still sell the old parts? How many rounds shot through as it is now?

I think answering those questions will get you in the ball park. But I don't know if you can get what you paid for it in total even if it is unfired.

But it does look nice!

I would say, How much did you pay for everything? Divide that in half and ask for that.

Looks like a sweet gun, I am sure somebody would pick it up
 
you suee as hell won't make your money back but i would definitely try and put it out there; you'd be better off parting it out...it would take more time but you wouldn't take as serious a hit and i mean part everything out.
 
Most times you will get more if you part it out, especially if you still have the parts to make a complete rifle after you sell the stock and barrel.

Offer the whole rifle for sale for a while, if you don't get your price then part it out.
