what's it worth; 20 mm Vulcan barrel

I have a 20 mm Vulcan barrel

there is a small gas port (roughly 1/8")about 1.5 feet from the chamber
could easily have a set screw welded in to make a black powder rifle

I see them for sale in the states at big sky surplus for $1960US

what's a reasonable price for the Canadian market?
Is anyone interested in it?

I was wondering that myself... Why would an electrically powered cannon have gas ports and even if it used gas to recycle the action how would the gas ports work while spinning at 500-1000 rpm?

Unless you have the rest of it or you are making a model cannon, I can't see any use for one.

Some versions of the Vulcan are gas operated, such as in the SUU-23A gun pod.

You could build an awsome single shot bolt gun with that! never mind the pussy 50 bmg! Might need a cast lead stock to slow recoil down, and maybe an anchor on each bipod leg,,,,,

I don't doubt it for a second... I'd love to shoot one if I ever got the chance.

I hadn't checked the Anzio site in a long time, and now I see that they've even wildcatted the 20mm... check out the 20/50 they've cooked up! Neck 20mm down to 50 cal, use a BMG projectile.

I'm surprised at the price that Big Sky quoted.
I can remember not TOO many years ago, 20x102 Vulcan barrels sold for only about $200 for a used one.
I was halfway interested in getting one, but never moved on it.
