I have a pre 64 in mint condition and would not sell for a nickel under 1500.. is 2500 maybe high ? ya a bit , but if the wood is nice and blue'n

They will be worth that in time

What would yours be worth if it was altered the way this one is?

I must be missing a pic ..
2500 is high but how much do you want it

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

If you feel your MINT 88 is worth at least 1500. I'm asking what you think YOUR 88 would be worth if it was altered with the sling swivels replaced with studs and a recoil pad installed? (The way this one is)

mine is 100 % original , but agree with others that 2500.00 is very high . My initial 1500 for mine is because I'm the second owner and when I bought it ..
It was unfired , so I treasure it and maybe my price is to high
BUT no-one will own it for less :)
and I have the original box and manual .
very collectible

My Dad has a soft spot for both the 88 and the 100 models.

His 88 is in 308, I personally don’t see the allure of them, I’d prefer another lever variant of some sort over it. It just doesn’t carry well for me. I think he paid $500’ish over 6+yrs or more ago for his, but it was in really good shape

His 100 is a recent acquisition. 284Win no less. I’ve been scouring the webs to see what grain range it might like without having to buy a ton of projectiles or waste precious powder/primers doing so.

Price of them is unreal I paid 340 for one 3 years ago and thought it was a lot. But I bought a 94 for less then a 100 in my day so am what you call a old fuddy duddy.

I paid $349.00 for a Model 94 AE back in the day.
This was my first center fire purchase.
Bought it from Dave when they where known as Reliable Gun and Tackle on Fraser back in the day.
Btw, they are still there and it is a second generation operation.
So, yeah $2500 is a little steep for a common caliber rifle, now a .284 in Model 88 ;)

Really? I tried to do a pic but apparently I've reached my membership limit!
Wish I could have gotten them for that! I’ve shot the 308 and maybe the 243 but never the 284 or 358 and it’s been here close to 25yrs.
I'm sure you'd pick one for free. Lol.

Yo momma gave it to me for less ;)

The 88 is just fugly, I wouldn’t take one for free lol

yo momma dropped you on ur head .. when you looked up cross eyed
