Time.
I shot 3x matches this year plus a clinic, only thing that kept me from shooting more was time.
Not sure how to get more people to join the ORA and attend the SR matches, depends on what is holding them back.
If it's cost or time holding them back, that's a tough one, can't really help there.
If they don't know exactly how to get started, there's this CGN forum. Perhaps we need a colorful/detailed "how to get started" sticky?
If the intimidation factor is keeping new shooters from committing to their first match (I admit I was nervous driving to my first match...but it dissolved quickly

) we could organize an buddy/mentor program here on CGN. Experienced shooters could sign on as available. New shooters could contact them via private message/email, buddy up and ask all the questions they may not want to ask here. Taking it a step further, you could buddy up with shooters who are registered for the same match the tyro plans to attend, and
maybe the match director could accommodate the buddy system when organizing the relays so the tyro/mentor were on the same target. There's not a lot of free time (see: any) during Tim's matches, but you'd end up in the butts together at some point.
Are there shooters at your local club who might be interested? Offer to pay their entry fee for a SR clinic...all it takes is one trip to the Borden range and they will be hooked.
