It depends on how quickly you want to sell it. Comparing USED ITEMS to todays prices, in most cases doesn't help sell it.
Reduce the price to 70% of what you paid, and be prepared to split it up as buyers may have their own bases and rings.

Uhh thats about 30% way too high. I sold a 7week old zeiss conquest hd5 5-25x50 for 500 below cost. If you try to sell it for that much you'll be 50 bumps into your sale without a bite.

You wouldn't be able to ask for more than $700 shipped for the bare scope, that would be top dollar.
Sell the rings and bases seperate.

Yup...if you never want to sell it. No one cares about the bases unless they happen to have the same rifle as you and even then they might not care for them. Rings, maybe, but why someone would want Mark4 rings for a varmint rig eludes me.

End of the day, $650-$700 probably sells it.
