Try this, its 98% Lanolin, heals puss filled sores and keeps your hands utterly soft.

Hornady one shot it the way to go! I was never a believer but now that is all I use. read the instructions on the side of the can. You have to clean your dies first, then spry the inside of the die, then spry the cases. No more case lube dents from lube build up. It dries with no sticky residue. 1 can last for about a year, I shoot a fair bit.

If you want cheap, non aerosol, slick case lube try one part liquid lanolin mixed with twelve parts (99%) isopropyl alcohol.
Warm both ingredients in hot tap water to aid in mixing...
Once desolved it'll remain in solution and not settle out at all.

I've been using this recipe for a while now... Works great and is very cheap.
$15 worth of ingredients makes enough lube to last for thousands of rounds.
Dollar store pump spray bottle for application.

I've used graphite in a film canister lubes inside and out with no powder killing residue.
I've also used RCBS pump spray
And Hornady case paste lube

Gear oil 50w90 on a pad and an oily patch left over from cleaning a gun....what ever works for you.

When I tried RCBS to reform .223 to .222, it was not up to the task.
I tried some "old" C-H lube and it did the job. Smells like STP which is what my friend and I started with in 1965.

I am very satisfied with Dillon case lube. Spray it onto your brass in a plastic bag and shake it up to apply. This is the same thing as the lanolin/alcohol mixture if you want to make your own.

I like Imperial Sizing Die Wax from Redding. A little goes a long way. If you haven't seen it, it comes in small tin like lip balm. Just a little on your finger tips seems to do it.

x2 works great

Can you spray this into a large baggy with brass in it? and is it safe if it gets into the inside of the case just before running through a proggresive

Anything cut with alcohol is using the alcohol as a spray delivery agent and the alcohol has to evaporate before you start loading. It shouldn't take too long but I'd give it at least an hour or two. Someone who uses this method could confirm...

That's how I do it... Never had a problem.
Thousands of .223 rounds through my progressive.
Another big plus for this bootleg case lube is that other than the slight whiff of the alcohol this stuff is much more pleasant on the nose.
I used to use OneShot, but.... 'Hated the probably toxic aerosol smell.

A few minutes is all that is necessary for the alcohol to evaporate.

been gathering the supplies for this, london drugs had 99% isopropyl alcohol, and the local health food store had the liquid lanolin
I heated the lanolin in warm water and eye balled the mix 10-1 and left room in the bottle incase I needed to make an adjustment, I just resized 200 .223/5.56 cases back to back without any issues, I am 100% sold on this.
