Holy Moly, what weight bullet does a .70 cal. shoot?

1000 grs of course, but I think you knew that. The .700 NE is proof that there can be too much of a good thing. A 1000 gr bullet at 2000 fps in an ultralight 16 pound double rifle results in recoil that can only be described as vicious. Mark Sullivan carried his for a couple of seasons before he concluded this thing was just intolerable. One could only imagine what it might be like in a light weight Kimber. Probably the game would have a greater chance of survivability than the shooter. For best results, mount the scope 2" behind the cocking piece.:D

Left Hand Browning A-Bolt Medallion in 270WSM that I ordered May 2008. I am told it might finally arrive in December 2009. Holy Crap Browning's left hand stuff takes forever.

Two 6.5x55 hunting rifles, one for myself and one for my wife. :)

I have to sell a few others rifles (in other calibers) first though to fund this project. :(

DSR1 in 338 lapua...possible a conversion kit too, and of course either Schmidt & bender or Zeiss scope to go with it.

.220 Swift. It's time. In a new rifle, Remington are the only company chambering. It will be a M700 Varmint SF.

I want one. Need has got nothing to do with it.....:)

New ar as well as rebarrelling a bubba'd 03 Sprg as soon as i can make up my mind as to chambering, maybe a 9 for the wife.

Anyway it's going on one of my Stainless Classics after I shorten it to 22". Open sights and QD mounts with a 1.5x5 Leupold, the ultimate northern B.C. gun.:):)
