I am the "black hole" of firearms, they seem to get close to me and then they get sucked into the black hole, never to surface on the market again.............It's not like I need 200 firearms, but I just never get around to selling any. I suppose I have quite a few that hold no particular meaning to me and would sell if I ever got around to it. The ones that hold my particular fondness, no one would want anyway and are mostly shot out with quite likely only a few hundred rounds of relatively accurate life span left. These are my working rifles and hold most of my hunting memories.
I have a few high dollar ones that one thinks he'll never let go, however who in their eighties, with no intention of returning to Africa for heavy game needs a double .470 NE. I doubt I would ever sell my custom stocked Sako Safari in 375 H&H but only because I doubt I could ever recoup my costs, we'll see....It's not like I'm going to use it, when I already have a working 375 H&H that shoots like a dream and has collected a great number of trophies for me. My black bear swatter (Rem Mod 7 KS 350 RM) also holds a special place in my memories and I doubt it will ever be sold, but hey, make me a crazy offer and again who knows........It's not like it's the only 350 RM I own.......
And so it goes, I guess the reality is they are all for sale for the right price, most at fair market value but others would have to be at a premium to pry them from my vault...........
