What's on your "Do not sell until I'm dead" list?

Even better from this side;

It is indeed..... and if I could invert it I would...... but it's just fine as it is.....

Not a bad thread all in all.....

BUT, I would like to see one where people actually post pics of their actual 3 gun / 4 gun setup as opposed to a bunch of theory....

There is a definite oder of what would go, but they can all go if I was upgrading or purchasing something else.
I've upgraded $40000 vehicles, so a 1k rifle is pretty easy to move along.

I have a custom that in a weak moment I talked out of a friends safe and into mine. Its a 358 Norma Magnum and since the first time I saw it I want her. Now it is mine and never leaving.
BL22 that was my late fathers, that one will go to my son some day.
A very old black powder side by side 12 gaudge, that was my grand fathers.
But other than that, I have bought and sold lots, does not bother me one bit to let most go to a new home.

Hmmmm............? I hope my kids bury me with all my 12.3 firearms. And a couple of my 12.6's. Have to take one Colt SP-1 and one of the Garands. The afterlife needs firepower as well.

p.s. I should take the SVT-40 as well. Just in case I run into Fedor Tokarev. It would be interesting to have him show me the easiest way to field strip that beast.

Now that I am a senior things have changed and there is only one that has most endearment and it is a single shot Cooey with a rabbit engraving on the stock wrist. I bought it 51 years ago with money earned delivering fish and chips on my kids bicycle I modified with a banana seat and high handlebars. The owner of the fish and chips store would often complain it took me too long but the hills were high and the heat I still remember. It was an "expensive" Cooey and my dad would not allow me to buy a semi only a single shot.

I have a Browning BLR take down in 325 WSM. its not old or rare but damn I love that gun

I will sell my levers if I have to but they will be the last ones out of my safe

From my grandfather:
Remington Model 10 pump 12ga
Ross Rifle single shot 22cal Cadet Rifle

My first centerfire: Browning FN Safari 30-06
My personal favorite: Win 71 Deluxe 348, hunted with it in the woods of Maine for 20 years

Colt Python from 1992
Colt 45 Combat Commander Custom gun

The rest I could live without.

I'd sell any of mine - I have no real attachment to any of them. I just hope I can keep shooting for as long as possible - another 25-30 years would be good.

I'm in the same boat within a couple years. Got my Cooey model 39 back in the 8th grade with cash earned from working on local farms doing numerous chores. The rifle has accounted for a great many critters over the years and is still my go-to plopper for pests on private lands. Best $5.oo I ever spent.:)

Dad had no worry with me gettin' a Nylon 66 a year or so after & I got a beauty one that I'm keepin' till I flop, along with a batch of bolt & lever action centerfire rifles and a couple of 12 gauge shotguns.

Nothing, all toys, will sell all at right price like all of my other tools.

Luv them, respect them but end of day still toys/tools.
