What's on your hunting bucket list?

Interesting. BC lists tag fees for resident and non resident in their regulation synopsis, even though you can't hunt big game without a guide or someone with a permit to accompany.

Most guided hunts I've looked into mentions that buying the licences/tags is an extra fee on-top of the outfitter fees so I imagine those non-resident rates are what they'd be purchasing.

I find this topic fascinating! I applaud all those who have contributed, whether their ambition is coyote or walrus, buffalo or big bears. Experiences are valuable, other peoples values are debatable, and adventures are most often worthwhile!

Too many to list them all; done a few but lots more I know will never happen, such as Polar Bear, Markhor, Lord Derby Eland, dry-land Hippo, Jaguar, Tiger, feral Water Buffalo in Oz....the list goes on.

Stuff I actually hold out hope for includes Musk Ox, Walrus, a really nice Elk, free-range Aoudad, Ocellated Turkey...and most especially guiding my granddaughter to her first Whitetail buck. :)

Mountain Goat
Caribou
Bison

I've given up on the idea of ever hunting Bighorn Sheep so it's scratched off the list. Prices have gotten out of hand, unless you can hunt as a resident, and odds of me ever drawing a tag in the US are net to zero.

I used to dream of hunting Pronghorns, in 2017 I fulfilled that dream and have since shot six! Extremely fortunate to have been able to hunt my dream animal this many times.

I am cheap and easy I guess. Love hunting big Whitetails, and don't care where. I target the biggest and smartest in the woods I am lucky enough to be in. My bucket list is always a bigger one.

Not really a bucket list because I have been there and done that but would love to get back to Nova Scotia for a late season Black Duck hunt. I always tried to tag my Whitetail early growing up so I could get back into the blinds when the northern red legs started showing up. They are a very special bird to hunt. There is obviously better waterfowl hunting on the prairies but nothing compares to salt marsh with a good retriever.

Living to see my sons hunt with me for many years. My trophy days for myself are behind me. Now my bucket list hunts are watching my sons and hopefully my daughter carry the tradition on.

I got my Leopard this year so pretty much done except for hunting here in Alberta. I would do Bongo but the cost is way to high and at 71 years old the long flights don’t appeal to me as much.

Congrats! That's another on my list that will likely stay there.

Definitely, the only bad part of going to Africa...is getting to Africa! :)
